CONCERT REVIEW : The Vamps OVO Hydro 8th December 2022

The Vamps OVO Hydro 8th December 2022

The Vamps return to the OVO Hydro on their 10-year greatest hits tour of the UK. A Chilly night in the city but their fans have turned out in high number filling into the venue to take in the support acts and gaining a good advantage point to see their idols.

The first artist on to warm up the Glasgow audience was solo artist Henry Moodie that took to the stage and delighted the audience with his a few of his own songs. Henry admitted he was surprised he got on the tour as he doesn’t have music of a back catalogue. He has a powerful voice and can entertain a crowd; he had the audience in full voice with splitting the audience up in to left and right with a sing off to a Taylor Swift hit. He is one to watch out for.

The four-piece band featuring Cristal Ramirez and sister Alisa, Katie Henderson and McKenna Petty. They came on to the stage and grabbed the Glasgow audience and took them a journey. The energy and the passion coming from the 4 piece was remarkable. They played a set including both their recent singles Stuck and Physical. Lead singer Cristal jumped around the stage and using the catwalk to get closer to the Glasgow audience.
