The electric atmosphere was palpable as the gates opened, and fans eagerly made their way towards the stage, undeterred by the downpour.

The night kicked off with a spectacular performance from tour support, Mammoth MVH, helmed by former Van Halen bassist and son of the late legend, Eddie Van Halen. The band delivered an impressive set that left the crowd in awe of their polished performance. Mammoth MVH played all the instruments on their debut album and delivered killer vocals that stood up against their recordings during their live performance. Def Leppard, a band widely regarded as one of the most iconic in rock music history, kicked off their performance with a bang, opening up with the rocking track ‘Take What You Want‘ from their 2022 album Diamond Star Halos. Despite the rain pouring down upon the stage in Glasgow, lead singer Joe Elliott wasted no time in strutting his stuff down the thrust stage, much to the excitement of the fans. The golden voice of Elliott was as powerful as ever, testament to the enduring quality of Def Leppard’s brand of rock music, which has continued to captivate audiences for decades.
