Let’s Rock, the UK’s most iconic retro festival series, are thrilled to announce that synth-pop legends The Human League will headline Let’s Rock Southampton 2024 on Saturday July 6th.

Also performing at the much-loved event on Southampton Common next summer will be Level 42, Peter Hook & The Light, From The Jam, eXTC, Jason Donovan, Kim Appleby, Altered Images, China Crisis, Dr & The Medics, plus more to be announced soon. 2024 will also see the first ever series of Let’s Rock DJ Battles, with renowned DJ Harriet Scott taking on iconic ‘80s DJ Pat Sharp in Southampton.

Emerging from the pioneering mid-Seventies Sheffield electronic music scene, The Human League broke through with their triple-platinum 1981 album ‘Dare’, which contained the era-defining UK & US No.1 single ‘Don’t You Want Me’, the year’s biggest selling single and Christmas No.1. The internationally renowned trio, comprised of Philip Oakey, Joanne Catherall & Susan Ann Sulley, have had four UK Top 10 albums and eight Top 10 singles, including ‘Love Action’, ‘Open Your Heart’, ‘Mirror Man’, ‘(Keep Feeling) Fascination’, ‘Tell Me When’ and ‘Human’, which gave the band their second US No.1.

With today’s announcement, Let’s Rock has now revealed the line-up for four of its 2024 events: Let’s Rock Southampton joining Let’s Rock Leeds, Let’s Rock Exeter, and Let’s Rock Shrewsbury.

Tickets for the all-day events offer remarkable value, starting at just £35.

Comments Jason Donovan: “I can’t wait to perform at Let’s Rock Leeds, Exeter, and Shrewsbury in 2024. Let’s Rock means summertime to me and I’m already looking forward to the longer and warmer days.  Bring it on!”
