BIGGEST UK & IRELAND HEADLINE TOUR, FEB / MARCH 2025
Scottish breakthrough artist CALUM BOWIE has today (Feb 21st) shared new song ‘Wherever She Goes’. An uplifting and infectious anthem, ‘Wherever She Goes’ is the second track to be shared from the rapidly rising singer-songwriter’s debut EP ‘Through The Window’, which is released March 21st on Capitol/Polydor Label Group. It follows the stirring acoustic balladry of recent single ‘Dream Of My Own’ and further showcases the 24-year old’s effortless way with a rousing melody.
Speaking about ‘Wherever She Goes’, Calum says, “It’s about when you feel overwhelmed, and you don’t know the right answer. And then there’s a girl who shines and clears the path… and really, that’s the answer.”
After a remarkable 2024 which saw CALUM BOWIE crowned ‘Breakthrough Artist’ at the Scottish Music Awards, a title previously awarded to the likes of Paolo Nutini, Lewis Capaldi and Emeli Sande, and chalk up his Glastonbury debut alongside a slate of sold out shows in the UK, Ireland and Europe, the Banchory, Aberdeenshire-born artist shows no signs of slowing down his swift ascent. His captivating live performances have won him an army of fans, with his upcoming UK & Ireland headline tour- his biggest to date – close to selling out. Amassing over 100 million views on TikTok and 5 million global streams, Calum is ready to make the world his own.
Calum Bowie’s path has seen him swap TikTok virality for IRL acclaim. As a student in Edinburgh during COVID, his viral cover videos – recorded from his bedroom window – connected with an audience of millions. He has played triumphant sets at The Great Escape and TRNSMT, Boardmasters and Glastonbury, all while staying true to his core values. A string of releases, including live favourite Love Lost, have been championed by Radio 1’s Future Pop, Future Alternative, and Future Artist shows. Opening for the likes of Dylan Gossett, Arthur Hill and Myles Smith last year, word is already out on this charismatic new singer-songwriter and the energy he brings to his live shows, where audiences sing every song back word-for-word.
With his conversational lyrical style and boy-next-door charm, Calum sweeps you up into his world. His forthcoming debut EP ‘Through The Window’ is a soaring triumph, with each song acting as a point of connection between his heart and yours. “Mostly, I write from experience. The EP is really personal. That’s why it’s called ‘Through The Window’ – it’s a play on words of my TikTok persona, but it’s also about me being the observer. The eyes are the window to the soul, after all.”
“It’s me. It’s my life. This is everything I’ve experienced. I’ve had lots of ups and downs – not in music, but just in personal life and lots of hard moments – and those stories are the thread that ties it all together.”
