Due to phenomenal and unprecedented demand, The Alarm Experience 40 – Rock And Roll Staycation Concert Series Phase One completely SOLD OUT within 30 minutes of the launch going live exclusively via the band’s website last week – now a second phase of Rock And Roll Staycation dates, running from the weekend of September 9th – October 7th 2021 will be released through www.thealarm.com on Sunday October 18th at 7:00pm UK BST.

These are proving to be exciting times for The Alarm community, with the demand for the Rock And Roll Staycation series already capturing the hearts and imaginations of Alarm fans from all over the planet. The idea was born during Mike and Jules Peters’ Big Night In live lockdown internet TV show which has now run to a second series and watched by over 500,000 fans around the world.

This weekend the Big Night in S2 E4 launches the second phase of Alarm Rock And Roll Staycations as well as celebrating The Alarm’s fascinating and long running history at the British Broadcasting Corporation, with BBC2 Wales also joining in the celebrations by broadcasting a repeat of the moving documentary Jules Peters – My Cancer Journey on Monday October 19th at 10:00pm, along with another chance (at 11:30pm) to see 2017’s Mike Peters And The Alarm – Live At The 25th Anniversary Gathering show.

Fans who book into The Alarm Experience 40 Chapel Hotel will be invited to become part of the Big Night In broadcast sessions which will be going out live around the world every Friday night, throughout the course of The Alarm Experience 40 weekend concert series.

As Mike reveals; “Its looking increasingly likely that the idea of touring and playing normal’ packed out Mike Peters/Alarm shows around the world is not going to resume properly until at least 2022, so I thought that (as well as playing and honouring all the current events we have on the calendar – including Rhyl Town Hall and St. Davids Hall Cardiff)  I could host a series of concerts in the style of mini-Gatherings, with a truly intimate acoustic/storyteller feel to the evenings and, in my own words and music, tell the entire story of The Alarms history from 1981-2021.”

The Alarm Experience 40Rock And Roll Staycation is totally in keeping with the spirit of the band’s annual Gatherings, that were built on 28 years of artist/audience role reversal, with fans undertaking the travelling while Mike Peters stayed at home and created an unforgettable weekend concert experience.

“Some out of the box thinking, the Global Pandemic and the success of the Big Night In has created a unique situation that can allow The Alarm Experience 40 series to become a reality”, continues Mike, “And I look forward to welcoming fans to my unique and special part of the world and taking everyone on a musical journey through Alarm history in the heart of its creative centre  – The Chapel at Dyserth Waterfalls.”

The first Alarm Experience 40 event will begin with Phase One on July 3rd 2021 and continuing through Phase 2 into October 2020. Throughout, the Big Night In broadcasts will tell the real story of Mike Peters and The Alarm.
