Mumford & Sons Announce Huge UK and European Arena Tour
The 19 Date Run Includes Homecoming Night At London’s The O2 In December + Summer Show At Malahide Castle, Dublin.
Tickets Hit Presale From Tuesday 18th March
Mumford & Sons are pleased to share details of a huge 19-date arena tour of UK/Ireland + Europe later this year, and big summer shows at Dublin’s Malahide Castle and Arena di Verona in July.
The British folk-rock band release their new album, RUSHMERE, on 28th March, and are currently out on a global club tour that hit London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town last night, ahead of shows in Sydney and North America.
The new arena run will kick off in Stockholm on 5th November, and concludes in London on 10th December. The UK/Irish dates also include shows in Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham and Cardiff ahead of the tour’s conclusion in London.
The band will precede the tour with a big outdoor show at Malahide Castle, Dublin on 7th July, where they last performed back in 2019.
Ticket information: Fans who pre-order RUSHMERE will have presale access to tickets for UK shows. Fans can pre-order the album here. Members of agora, the band’s fan community, will have presale access to the rest of the European arena shows. Fans that haven’t yet signed up to agora can do so now at https://agora.gentlemenoftheroad.com/.
Presale tickets will go on sale from Tuesday 18th March. Any remaining tickets will be available through a general on-sale from 10am local time on Thursday 20th March.
Mumford & Sons have partnered with PLUS1 to support War Child. £1 from every ticket sold will help War Child to protect, educate, and stand up for the rights of children affected by war. https://www.warchild.org.uk/
Of the band’s return, Rushmere is the spot where it all began for Mumford & Sons. The pond, located on Wimbledon Common in south-west London, is where Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane first hung out and imagined the initial idea of putting a band together. Rushmere was as familiar to them as the instruments they played, and is at the heart of their origin story.
RUSHMERE is the beginning for Mumford & Sons’ next phase, and it follows an intense period of creativity for the trio. The album was produced by nine-time Grammy winner Dave Cobb and recorded at RCA Studio A in Nashville, in Savannah, GA, and back in the UK at Marcus’ studio in Devon.
