September will see Scottish three-piece, The LaFontaines embark on a UK headline tour! The long-awaited shows will get started in Glasgow at Barrowland on 13th September, and will then hit cities including Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff, before finishing in London at Omeara on 21st September. General tickets are on sale this Friday, at 10am.

The band recently announced a very unique live show, a family-friendly gig at Inflata Nation in Glasgow on 9th June, which is now sold out! Inflata is an inflatable theme park packed full of fun things to do, and a great way to keep the whole family active. Over the past fifteen years as the band have grown older, lead singer Kerr Okan, like many of their fans, has become a parent. With all the joys that brings, sometimes problems with childcare can mean catching your favourite band in an evening can be an issue. The LaFontaines have the solution; forgoing the usual concert venue they are putting on a lunchtime show at a kids soft play centre in Glasgow to keep the whole family happy – the kids can run amok and the parents can too!

Shortly after this, The LaFontaines will head to 5 intimate venues for live shows and album signings, to support the release of their upcoming album, Business As Usual, which is out on 14th June via SO Recordings. They will kick off in their hometown of Glasgow at HMV on 15th June, and then make their way around Dundee, Aberdeen and a sold out Edinburgh, before wrapping things up at an also sold out Kingston’s Banquet Records on 19th June. This will give fans a very special opportunity to see the band up close and personal, and performing the album tracks for the first time in tiny venues and record stores. See full dates and details here.

Business As Usual spans 10 tracks, including previously released singles, Since You Made A Move, Where They Know My Name, an ode to their beloved hometown of Glasgow, and the album’s title track, Business As Usual. Pre-order the highly-anticipated album here.

Fifteen years since their inception in Motherwell Scotland, Kerr Okan (vocals), Jamie Keenan (drums, vocals) and Darren McCaughey (guitars, production) have long held a unique space within the UK music scene with The LaFontaines’ sound as instantly recognisable as singer Kerr’s vocals.

The bands personality, charm and charisma coupled with their unrivalled unique offering has earned them a dedicated, loyal fanbase who identify with the band through more than just the music. Connecting with their live audiences on a level that most acts never achieve, their live shows are their superpower.

Across their career, the Glaswegian trio have performed across the globe with festival highlights including TRNSMT in Scotland, VERY TV Festival in Bangkok, the Radio 1 Dance Tent at Reading & Leeds Festival in England and the NH7 Weekender in India. They have toured everywhere from New York to Paris with the likes of Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, Anderson .Paak, Don Broco, Deaf Havana and Example to name a few. Their third studio album Junior was released via SO Recordings in June 2019 to critical acclaim. The album charted at number 33 in the UK Albums Chart, giving The LaFontaines their first top 40 record.
